Leadership Training for Christ is a ministry designed to stimulate and encourage spiritual, mental, and social growth among young men and women in grades three through twelve. Its mission is to achieve this growth by developing skills in leadership, Bible knowledge, and Christian servanthood. Participants will learn to live the servant leadership lifestyle.

Sylvan Hills joins forces with the Levy and Somers congregation in N. Little Rock to rotate the host responsibilities every year for VBS. That means that Sylvan Hills hosts VBS every three years.
In June 2008, we had the privilege to host a VBS “Power Lab” at Sylvan Hills where kids were involved in an exciting adventure, following Jesus as He heals, helps, and gives power to people who need him. The children gained a new enthusiasm for Jesus and also for God’s Word as they engaged with fun, science-themed surprises and memorable Bible stories.
During “Power Lab” the kids were involved in amazing Bible adventures, along with taking part in Daily Challenges that encouraged them to apply Bible truths to everyday life.
