 What
is Your Purpose?
 “Great
minds have purposes,” Washington Irving wrote, “others
have wishes.” Life is too short to spend your days
wishing somehow, sometime, someone will help make your
life fulfilling.
Many live their
entire life yearning for happiness, direction, and
meaningful relationships. Craving a sense of value to
their existence, many wander aimlessly and unfulfilled
through a series of disappointments.
In Christ a
refreshing sense of purpose awaits. He gives His
disciples a dynamic mission that clarifies and energizes
reality. The Bible explains, “We are His workmanship,
created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God
prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them” (Eph.
2:10).
God had already
prepared a purpose for you before you took your first
breath. His desire is to lovingly and patiently
accomplish good things in this world and to prepare
souls for eternity. Your purpose? To be a part of His
incredible plan. Wow! What a privilege!
